Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager - Engineering to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee engineering projects, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage multiple complex engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and process improvements
- Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to maintain quality standards
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and vendors
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization
- Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- 15+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership
- Strong technical expertise in relevant engineering disciplines
- Excellent project management skills, including budget management and risk assessment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
- Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software and tools
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies
- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment
