As a FP&A Associate, you will be reporting to the Senior FP&A Analyst and working closely with other senior Finance and Commercial leaders, including the VP, Finance Operations, Global Partnerships Team (GPT) Managing Director and the CFO. Over time, your role may evolve such that you may have a chance to work closely with additional stakeholders across the company, the Leadership Team and/or the Executive Team.
Responsibilities:
- Support FP&A's core activities, including data consolidation/extraction for business projections, annual budgeting, re-forecasting and ongoing variance analysis
- Assist in preparing monthly operational and financial data and insights for internal (executives) and external (investors) stakeholders
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly Board meeting reports on key metrics, financial results and variances against outlook
- Support the Global Partnerships Team in tracking their Sales KPIs (Attainment Tracking) with the SIP (Sales Incentive Plan)
- Business Partnering with the Global Partnerships Team (Shanghai) by helping the team update the 12 month rolling forecast on a monthly basis and come up with meaningful commentaries to explain over/ under vs plan (BUD/ Reforecast)
- Support Global Partnerships Team (Shanghai) in pricing optimization for campaigns/ deal negotiations
- Assist in updating the monthly numbers for the Coda Financial Model used to assess potential investment opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or a related field
- 1-3 years of working experience, fresh grads welcome to apply
- Experience working in FP&A team or one or more of the following areas: audit/ transaction services in a major/ Big 4 accountancy, consultancy or other financial services firm is a plus
- Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint - inclined towards the use of tech/ systems to improve efficiency
- Adept in data visualisation tools, graphic illustrations for effective story telling of the numbers
- Experience working with diverse teams across multiple geographies and cultural backgrounds is a plus
- Experience working with Anaplan (financial planning tool) is a plus
- Passionate about financial data and analytics
- Strong willingness to learn, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
