Genesys is hiring a senior-level sales professional for a strategic management & development role as Senior Program Manager EU Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in Germany.
Genesys EU Sovereign Cloud (ESC) will become our primary CCaaS Solution for highly regulated industries build on top of AWS Sovereign Cloud in Germany.
The strategic Program Manager role is working closely with our cross functional team of Product Management & Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Partner Management, Legal and Security/Privacy to create a tailored Go-to-Market offering for Genesys EU Sovereign Cloud (ESC) with focus on highly regulated industries like Public Sector, Life Sciences, Healthcare (Payors) or Utilities.
The Senior Program Manager ESC owns respective GTM development, marketing & event plan, cross functional team orchestration and related ecosystems around ESC. In addition, this person acts as EMEA voice to our global team and shares EU specifics around ESC.
Working in close collaboration with EMEA Country Manager & Sales Leader but also other territory relevant management functions, the Senior Program Manager ESC will also closely collaborate with independent consultants, transformational and other partners (especially AWS, ServiceNow & Salesforce) to create the right ecosystem to address highly regulated enterprises.
In this role, you will not only guide and coach the Genesys involved persons on our ESC strategy, but also represent Genesys to the senior management of involved (transformational) partners, consultants and the customer.
Building strong relationship networks relevant for the Enterprise sales in Germany is also part of the job.
What we look for and expect from the right individual is:
Act as Program Manager for a newly developed offering and lead / orchestrate an industry-focused team for growth
Form a unique and value-driven go-to-market strategy and ecosystem focused on European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
Verticalizes knowledge in Public Sector, Healthcare, Life Sciences or other related industries
Establish Genesys as the key player in respective assigned markets and grow with a unique EU-based ecosystem where you strongly partner with AWS, ServiceNow and Salesforce
Developing a clear marketing & event plan which is the baseline for success
Define EU requirements for highly regulated industries, structure them with priority and share them with global counterparts
Being the Genesys expert & voice for EU trends, opportunities, and threats in respective industries, with local focus and global alignment
Tracking Sales pipeline and calling forecast for their industry team on a weekly basis
Qualifying engagement requests and assigning team resources to optimize efficiency and drive value
Holding peer-level relationships with C-Level executives
Establishing a reliable Sovereign Cloud network between partners, transformational partners, independent consultants, and technology partners of Genesys to raise the ability to execute and to position Genesys in top management projects
Represent Genesys in general sales and marketing activities (e.g. conferences, fairs & industry-specific networks/platforms/communities).
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar education
10+ years professional experience with demonstratable success in big enterprises
5+ years professional experience in Program Management and developing GTM strategies
History of talent acquisition, team motivation, and overall performance, especially in complex enterprise sales, SaaS/cloud sales, management consulting, industry practitioner and/or other similar fields
Experience managing / orchestrating diverse & remote teams
Strong relationship into the AWS network and organization
Committed, proactive, team-oriented and stress-tested
Positive, Motivated, Self-starter with a can-do attitude & strong sense of ownership over their engagements. Willingness to do the heavy lifting to get to a better result more quickly. Enthusiastic collaborator.
Self-assured appearance and excellence presentation skills – especially suited for senior/top management level.
Fluent in German and English – Italian or Spanish welcome as well
Strong success and problem-solving orientation
Willingness to travel frequently and as required
