About the role:
Dialpad is looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Sr. Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving data-driven decision-making by analyzing marketing performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns and strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of marketing principles, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
As the Sr. Marketing Data Analyst, you will:
- Partner with the Marketing team to define key performance metrics and develop reports to track marketing effectiveness
- Create and maintain marketing reports and dashboards, primarily in Tableau, to track KPIs and visualize data trends
- Communicate complex data findings through clear and compelling visualizations
- Conduct in-depth analyses of marketing campaign performance across various channels, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement
- Proactively provide regular performance updates and recommendations for optimization
- Partner with the Data team to maintain and improve the quality and reliability of marketing data
- Promote self-serve analytics exploration (where possible) by developing a comprehensive suite of fully automated and reliable dashboards
Skills you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of marketing analytics experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- A deep understanding of marketing funnel metrics and their impact on revenue
- Investigative mindset and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business questions into data solutions
- Excellent communication skills allowing you to communicate complex data in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to non-technical audiences
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Strong understanding of marketing channels
- Familiarity with marketing attribution models and the benefits and limitations of each
- Expertise creating visually compelling dashboards in Tableau or similar BI platforms
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Experience with the following tools:
- BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouses
- Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms
- Digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
- Amplitude or similar web analytics tools
- Familiarity with Segment or similar customer data platforms (CDPs)
