Description We are seeking an After-School Babysitter and Drive in Los Angeles (90034) A lovely family in West La is currently looking for an energetic and dependable After-School Babysitter to care for their five year old child. This role involves school pickups, light transportation, and engaging afternoon care. Care will be needed Tuesdays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and include transportation to gymnastics class. Wednesdays and Thursdays care will be from 2:30pm to 4pm and include transportation from school to home. Start Date: As soon as possible End Date / Duration: Through the end of the school year Huge plus if the candidate has summer flexibility as some needs may arise but not required (on-call/backup with advance notice) Schedule: 8 hours per week Tuesday: 1:30pm to 4:30pm Wednesday: 2:30pm to 4pm Thursday: 2:30pm to 4pm Location: West LA; approx. 5 minutes between school and home, 15-minute drive to gymnastics Rate: $28 per hour, inclusive of mileage reimbursement Responsibilities School pickup and safe transportation home or to activities (e.g., gymnastics) Supervise and engage the child in outdoor play, games, or park outings Provide a warm, positive, and active presence Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references CPR certified or willing to become certified Has valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, driver’s insurance and clean driving record Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check Compensation This position pays $28 per hour, inclusive of mileage, for approximately 8 hours per week for the remainder of the school year.
