Context of the role
Reporting to the FP&A Director, this role will be based in Singapore. This role will support the Finance team in global operations and assist to implement policies, systems, and programs in a fast-evolving Fintech company. In addition, this role will also be actively involved in & exposed to international projects & operations.
Key Responsibilities
- OPEX Management : Conduct thorough reviews of monthly OPEX actual spending vs budget for management reporting, analysing variances and investigate differences by discussion with business units leaders
- OPEX Optimisation Plan: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Provide recommendations for optimizing OPEX budgets while maintaining operational excellence
- FP&A Analysis: Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making
- FP&A Operational Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute FP&A operational projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Analyze project financials, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Ad-hoc General Finance Support: Address ad-hoc finance-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information. Support the finance team in various day-to-day activities as needed
- Support on Projects and Initiatives: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that have financial implications for the organization. Provide financial expertise and analysis to contribute to the success of company-wide projects
Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proficient in analysis using tools such as Excel - VLOOKUP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
