About the Team:
Gusto’s People team is growing and scaling with the company! As our business scales and becomes more complex, and as we add hundreds of new Gusties each year, we need to ensure that our strategies for engagement with our employees are positive, engaging, values-driven and compliant.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Develop and deliver consistent employee handbooks efficiently across clients
- Process and maintain client HR data, including employee onboarding and offboarding
- Manage reports and other HR-related documentation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operational Support: Drive efficiency across our team by developing and maintaining key operational frameworks and systems.
- Consultant Support: Assist HR Consultants by acting as the primary administrative support for a variety of client HR needs.
- HR Data Management: Process and maintain client HR data, including new employee onboarding, offboarding, and employee records.
- HR Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and manage HR-related documentation and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping for clients.
- Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by being a reliable point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Streamline process across specific high frequency HR tasks
Here’s what we're looking for:
- HR experience as a People Operations Specialist and/or HR Generalist across various industries and scales.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely conveying information to employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with HR software, Google Suite, and modern productivity tools (Slack, Asana, Zoom, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, demonstrating urgency and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Significant experience with workforce analytics, using data and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated agility and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle issues ethically and with integrity.
Our cash compensation amount for this role is between $94,000 - $110,000/year in Denver and between $114,000 - $130,000/year for New York/San Francisco. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
