Your Mission
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be joining the team responsible for helping Propeller build software at scale. You’ll be working on the infrastructure platform that runs our customer and internal facing applications. You will enable our broader team of engineers to build and deploy our 3D software at a global scale.
You’ll take ownership of physical servers in our data center facilities and will perform checks, upgrades and fixes on our systems. In addition to this, you’ll be looking after our Cloud based infrastructure (AWS), working with technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform to maintain and build on existing infrastructure code.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of our on-premise machines as well as AWS infrastructure,
- Develop efficient automated workflows and patterns to allow other teams to leverage off while building our product,
- Operate within the Infrastructure as Code framework to manage our ever evolving architecture,
- Help and support other developers across the various engineering teams on any showstopper issues that may arise during their daily work.
- Act as a solid Systems administrator (troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing systems as needed
- Work to uphold and improve the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of our customers’ data.

Your Skills
- You bring solid experience as a systems administrator, with strong command-line skills and troubleshooting ability
- You have a fundamental understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing)
- You’re deeply familiar with AWS or other public Cloud Providers
- You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
- You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or custom-built solutions.
- You know your way around automation/scripting in Bash, Python, or TypeScript, and can use them effectively.
- You demonstrate strong end-to-end ownership of tasks and projects, seeing them through to completion
- You have a keen eye for detail and stay curious, always looking to grow by learning from seasoned infra professionals.
