From swimwear to ready-to-wear clothing, knits, and activewear, Francesca has expanded Frankies Bikinis' offerings to include a wide range of ultra-flattering, feminine styles.
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Assistant Store Manager for our SoHo boutique powered by the Leap Platform, located on Mercer Street. As a local market connector, you’ll stay attuned to community trends, competitor activity, and relevant brand collaborations—using these insights to support initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and a localized customer experience.
In partnership with the Area Manager, you’ll help execute strategies that drive sales, enhance client interactions, and build meaningful community connections. You’ll play an active role in the hiring and onboarding process, while mentoring team members to foster trust, consistency, and a sense of community. Clear communication of goals and expectations will also be key in supporting team alignment and collaboration.
Operational excellence is a key focus of this role. You’ll help ensure visual, cleanliness, and inventory standards are consistently met, while assisting with shipment processing and overall store execution. You’ll also support daily operations, including store open/close procedures—all while contributing to a strong, service-driven store culture.
This role requires a “One Team” mentality and may include support of other Leap-powered stores in the market, from new store launches and team onboarding to promotional events.
A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability is important. Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Workspace is a plus.
Position Requirements
- Apparel expertise—ideally in swim or intimates—with a proven ability to manage fitting room operations, deliver elevated client experiences, drive upselling, and navigate high-volume retail environments while fostering long-term customer relationships.
- Brings prior leadership experience in retail environments, with a strong track record of supporting team development and contributing to a positive store culture.
- Operational excellence in managing store operations, including scheduling, payroll accuracy, visual merchandising, inventory management, and shipment processing.
- Availability to meet dynamic business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Active floor presence with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, use a ladder, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Annual Pay Range: $25/hr to $28/hr. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
