At Airtable, we’re looking for a Privacy Specialist who’s excited to go beyond check-the-box compliance and help shape the future of privacy in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. In this role, you’ll lead critical privacy initiatives such as managing our cookie compliance program, guiding privacy by design across cross-functional teams, and ensuring our data practices meet global standards. You’ll also have the opportunity to implement automation and cutting-edge tools to scale and streamline privacy operations, making a lasting impact on how we protect personal data at scale.

What you'll do
- Manage Airtable’s cookie compliance program, including its cookie banner and categorization of cookies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as marketing, sales, revops, engineering, and legal teams to implement privacy by design principles in various Airtable processes.
- Conduct and refresh data mapping and inventory (ROPA) to ensure proper handling of personal data across business systems.
- Conduct privacy assessments (including privacy impact assessments and legitimate interest assessments) for new and existing processes, ensuring privacy controls are in place where applicable (e.g., notice a point of data collection, etc.).
- Respond, manage, and enhance data subject access requests in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain privacy processes that comply with ISO27701.
- Enhance and maintain privacy controls framework mapped to ISO27701 and Airtable in-scope privacy laws.
- Perform gap assessments and translate into technical requirements for existing and upcoming privacy laws and regulations
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience in privacy compliance.
- In-depth technical knowledge of consent management platforms (for cookies and communication consent), like OneTrust, Google Tag Manager, and integrating privacy requirements.
- Strong experience with implementing and maintaining cookie banners across several domains.
- In-depth experience with automating DSAR,ROPA, and privacy assessment processes with privacy tooling.
- In-depth experience with ISO27701, GDPR, CCPA and other US State Privacy Laws
- General experience with DPF and global privacy laws.
- Experience with conducting privacy impact assessments and risk assessments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to balance privacy requirements with business needs.
- Experience with role-based privacy training.
