At Genesys, our success is powered by the passion and talent of our people. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Executive to join our team in The Netherlands, focusing on driving revenue and customer success across our enterprise accounts.
This is a high-impact role responsible for promoting Genesys Cloud CX solutions to both new and existing customers across various industries, working closely with partners, internal teams, and C-level stakeholders to deliver innovation and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales & Account Management
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the Netherlands enterprise market
Lead complex sales cycles end-to-end: discovery, value proposition, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure
Manage Genesys enterprise accounts through accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and resource alignment
Align customer business needs with Genesys offerings to support digital and AI transformation initiatives
Guide and influence customers’ strategic direction in Contact Centre and Customer Experience (CX) infrastructure
Customer & Partner Engagement
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
Drive customer retention, expansion, and long-term value through cross-sell and up-sell strategies
Actively promote Genesys solutions through direct engagements and via business partners
Develop joint account strategies with channel partners and coordinate activities with the Channel Sales Team
Work with Marketing on demand generation and joint GTM campaigns
Teamwork & Collaboration:
Collaborate with Solution Consultants, Delivery, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Market & Industry Expertise:
Stay informed on industry trends, customer behavior, technology developments, and the competitive landscape
Maintain deep knowledge of supported sectors and continuously identify new growth opportunities
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of B2B experience in complex, consultative enterprise sales, preferably in Cloud/SaaS or Contact Centre solutions
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software or CX markets
Strong ability to engage, influence, and build trust with senior executives at large organizations
Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing long-term strategic accounts
High proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint), and CRM tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Cloud, AI, Contact Centre, or CX software
Experience in team leadership or indirect sales/channel models
