The Opportunity
CloudBolt is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Strategic Alliances (Technical) to lead our AWS alliance from a technical perspective. This role is pivotal in accelerating adoption through co-sell programs, marketplace innovation, and joint go-to-market initiatives. Unlike traditional Alliances roles, this role is engineering focused, you will be the technical glue between the product and AWS. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to craft meaningful partner experiences that drive revenue, amplify field momentum, and solidify our standing within the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, with a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, experience using Kubernetes, proven alliances experience, and brings a proactive, relationship driven approach to navigating cloud partner ecosystems.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute integrated GTM strategies aligned with AWS programs, customers and sellers.
- Deliver technical workshops between AWS technologies and CloudBolt products
- Lead engagement in AWS co-sell platforms (ACE) and similar partner programs to increase pipeline.
- Drive AWS Marketplace success through product-led growth opportunities using our AWS PAYG listing that align to our ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
- Build and nurture our strategic alliance, enabling joint solution development, field alignment, and executive relationships.
- Partner with marketing to create joint campaigns and with sales to drive co-selling motions.
- Equip CloudBolt sellers with the enablement, collateral, and insights needed to win partner-led deals.
- Own the operations of the alliance function—tracking pipeline, managing MDF, reporting outcomes, and optimizing engagement processes.
- Represent CloudBolt at AWS events in partner QBRs, industry events, and strategic partner summits.
