Job Description:
This candidate will be part of the geographically distributed, highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure
and Runtime Development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing
and testing core components which form underpinnings for TIBCO products running in the
TIBCO Platform.
General Responsibilities:
● Own, drive, and evolve architectural pieces of the TIBCO Platform Control Plane
backend infrastructure stack
● Be able to track requirements, design, prototype and adopting new technologies as
required
● Work closely with the architects, security teams, product and program management as
and when required to ensure timely delivery
● Work with a geographically distributed team of developers and mentor junior developers
as appropriate
● Design and Develop REST microservices
● Develop unit and functional automated tests
● Have a proven track record of debugging distributed systems
● Have previous exposure to Agile way of developing software
● Participate in Agile development and ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Required Skills and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent; advanced
degree a plus
● 8+ years of professional software development experience
● Hands-on in one or more languages: Golang , SQL, Shell scripting, Python. In
exceptional cases Java language experience maybe considered, with amenability to
work in Golang
● Previous experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus ecosystem
● Working knowledge of UNIX is essential
● Understanding of cloud architecture principles and cloud security practices
● Working knowledge of CI/CD, Git / Github or any modern version control system and bug
tracking systems such as JIRA
● Previous experience with AWS and/or Azure deployment will be a plus
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Strong team player
