💼 About the Role
As a Hub Associate, you’ll be hands-on in keeping the hub running smoothly handling everything from stock movement and picking to yard organisation and compliance checks. Your work ensures that our drivers are set up for success, that orders go out accurately, and that the space remains clean, safe and efficient.
You’ll play a key role in the preparation of orders, asset management, and adherence to food safety and health & safety standards, working as part of a close-knit team that makes doorstep deliveries possible.
🔥 Key Responsibilities
Stock Handling & Picking
- Receive, store, and move stock accurately within the hub.
Yard & Asset Management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard and hub.
- Sort, clean, and store returnable assets (e.g. crates, pallets) and ensure they are accounted for.
- Prepare the yard for inbound supplier deliveries and outbound driver despatch.
- Ensure all waste is separated correctly and disposed of in the correct recycling streams.
Compliance & Safety Activities
- Support regular audits and counts of returnables and site waste performance.
- Complete daily pre-shift checks as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, handling and health & safety procedures while on site.
- Report any hazards, incidents or non-compliance issues to a supervisor or Hub Manager promptly.
- Handle any damaged or returned goods according to procedure.
- Help track and minimise waste within the fulfilment process.
- Perform regular stock counts and keep stock areas well-organised and safe.
- Pick and stage customer orders in line with delivery requirements and quality standards.
- Assist with despatch, ensuring drivers are provided with the right orders, in full, and on time.

- Experience in a warehouse, fulfilment, or delivery hub (desirable but not essential).
- A team player who takes pride in cleanliness, safety, and doing things right.
- A proactive, reliable work ethic—you take ownership and get the job done.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow process and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during fast-paced shifts.
- Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet throughout your shift.
- Awareness of safety and cleanliness in a food-grade environment.
⏰ Shift
- Working days: Sunday to Friday
- Hours: 17:00 - 01:00
- Break: 1 hour
