Community Manager, Scaled Onboarding

We are seeking a growth-oriented Community Manager to lead and grow a customer community designed to facilitate scalable onboarding for new customers. This role will focus on creating a vibrant, interactive, and supportive environment where customers can connect, learn, and succeed using our software.
As part of the Community team, you’ll play a key role in scaling HubSpot’s scaled onboarding model, with a focus on community management. The Community Manager of Scaled Onboarding will play an integral role in creating and scaling the community for our scaled onboarding experience. You will work closely with the Academy Team to create engaging content, define onboarding tactics and engagement strategies, and define data-based KPIs for community engagement.
Success in this role will result in customers completing our scaled onboarding programs, understanding how to use HubSpot, and increased retention rates. This person will be key in helping the team move the needle in HubSpot’s scaled onboarding mission.
As an integral member of the Community Team, you will work closely with the Academy Team to provide a seamless and engaging onboarding experience through a blend of community discussions, events, and curated educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement & Content Creation
- Develop and manage ongoing prompts, discussions, and activities to foster active customer participation and collaboration.
- Share resources to address customer onboarding needs, including tailored content and Academy playlists.
- Monitor community activity to identify trends, gather feedback, and address customer challenges proactively.
- Collect, synthesize and share customer feedback with Academy team.
- Run engagement experiments focused on improving customer engagement and value.
- Customer Accountability & Support
- Answer product questions in the community space
- Design initiatives that encourage customers to activate within HubSpot.
- Support customers through thoughtful responses, fostering a collaborative peer-to-peer help environment.
- Collaboration & Tools
- Work closely with the Academy Team to align community activities with broader onboarding strategies.
- Utilize the team's suite of community tools to manage operations, track engagement metrics, and report on KPIs.
- Track and analyze program data to continuously improve and iterate
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community management and onboarding
- Potential to launch, support, or engage with other community projects and programs aligned with business needs

Cash compensation range: 46000-69000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
