At Genesys, our Account Executives are the catalyst behind the growth and success of the company and carry responsibility for all sales opportunities across the Enterprise business segments. As an Account Executive you will learn how to become a consultative sales professional, how to take ownership for dedicated accounts, positioning the full Genesys solution portfolio (including AI capabilities), developing and managing a sales pipeline, securing net-new business and driving revenue growth from within the existing customer base.
As an Account Executive at Genesys, you will drive new business and manage existing customer relationships reporting to Italy Sales Director for Enterprise & SMB segments. The Account Executive at Genesys is a client-facing role, requiring strategic vision, solution-focused approach, value selling abilities and a deep understanding of customer needs. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design solutions that align with the business goals of your customers and prospects and maximize the impact of Genesys products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify new prospect and build relationships with potential customers in the enterprise sector to create new business opportunities.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing value, and help them deliver memorable experiences to their customers.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Genesys goals, ensuring revenue growth and retention.
- Forecasting: Accurate reporting and forecasting to ensure achieving quarterly sales quotas.
- Individual quota contribution: Taking revenue responsibility and carrying of a sales quota
- Solution Selling: Understand customer challenges and translate Genesys solutions into measurable business outcomes, demonstrating the value and impact of our technology.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, technical presales, and post-sales teams to ensure seamless implementation and long-term customer success.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to position Genesys as a market leader in the Italian market.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor, representing the voice of the customer internally and advocating for their success.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional sales experience.
- Proven track record success in selling cloud solutions (preferably CCaaS/SaaS/CRM).
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Committed, proactive, team-oriented and stress-tested
- Very good presentation skills
- Strong success orientation
- Native Italian speaker with excellent English communication skills.
