We are looking for a Payroll & Compliance Manager to join our team and take ownership of payroll and compliance processes across multiple entities, including Greece, the US, Cyprus, the UK, and Spain. This role will oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with local labor laws, with a strong focus on Greek payroll and labor law. Additionally, the Payroll & Compliance Manager will handle benefits administration and support broader compensation and benefits strategies. Responsibilities
As a Payroll & Compliance Manager, you will:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for Greece, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Oversee payroll across multiple entities (US, UK, Cyprus, and Spain) by coordinating with third-party payroll providers.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social security obligations across all locations.
- Handle employee lifecycle payroll activities, including new hires, renewals, and terminations.
- Maintain payroll-related employee records and ensure timely submissions in ERGANI and other reporting systems.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, taxation, and labor laws.
- Manage benefits administration across different locations, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Generate payroll reports for auditing, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Provide guidance on compensation & benefits strategies, including benchmarking, salary bands, and bonus schemes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to optimize payroll processes and ensure smooth operations.
To be successful in this role as a Payroll & Compliance Manager, you should have:
- Proven experience in Greek payroll and labor law.
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing in a multi-country environment.
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits strategies, benchmarking, and total rewards frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, social security, and compliance requirements in Greece.
- Ability to manage third-party payroll providers in different countries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
