Description We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Princeton, New Jersey 08540 A lovely family in Princeton is seeking a part-time after-school nanny for their 2 children, ages 3 and 6 years old, for an immediate start. Part-time care is needed for a total of 20 hours per week. Set hours are Monday-Friday from 2:45pm-5:45pm, with the last 5 hours per week flexibly scheduled on a week-by-week basis. This could include weekend care, or extending 2 of your weekday shifts by 2-3 hours on your preferred days (at least twice per month, these 5 hours will happen on a Saturday or Sunday). Occasionally, the family may request full-day care (9am-5:45pm) for school closures and sick days, although availability for this is not required. On these days, you'll have the evening off. The family can provide a month's notice for school closures and 12-24 hours' notice for sick days. An ideal candidate will be caring, proactive, and attentive to both of the children's needs. Start date: Immediate Length of Position: Long term Compensation: $30-$35 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:45pm-5:45pm (set schedule) Total of 20 hours per week - additional 5 hours to be dispersed throughout the week/weekend Responsibilities: Engaging with the children in age-appropriate + developmental activities Homework help for 6 year old; phonics, reading, arithmetic, etc. Limiting screen time School pickups, playground visits, etc. (walkable) Bed-time routines Requirements: 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience Legally authorized to work in the United States CPR certified or willing to become certified High School diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license is a plus Able to provide at least 2 professional childcare references from a paid and professional setting Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check Must have a photo ID for identification verification (passport, driver's permit, or driver's license) Comfortable with cats Compensation: This position pays $30-$35 per hour, and the family is looking for 20 hours of care per week.
