Market Intelligence & GTM Strategy Analyst
Our Market Intelligence and GTM Strategy Analyst is the first hire in the newly formed Revenue Intelligence function at hyperexponential. Reporting to Kate Hillier Isaac, the VP of Revenue Operations & Intelligence (ROI), this team transforms data into strategy and strategy into action.
We chart the course for growth by defining where we're going, why it matters, and how to get there, powering everything from GTM planning and competitive analysis to strategic initiatives and board-level insights.
Your Mission
As the Market Intelligence and GTM Strategy Analyst, your mission is to be the analytical engine and strategic thought partner to our go-to-market decision makers. Your work will help shape GTM strategy and ensure we stay ahead in a fast-changing market. There are two key pillars:
1. Market Intelligence
Build a market intelligence engine that enables us to deeply understand our addressable market. Where to play, how to win, and how to focus, by surfacing insights at both the macro (market) and micro (account) level, and equipping our go-to-market teams with tools and processes that make those insights easily accessible and actionable.
2. GTM Strategy Enablement
Support strategic planning through quarterly and annual planning processes, and lead internal consulting-style projects that address key strategic and operational questions, providing rigorous, insight-led analysis that clarifies where we are, what’s working, and what should change.

Map and Maintain Our Total Addressable Market (TAM)
Build and maintain dynamic models of TAM, SAM, and SOM by segment, vertical, and geo.
Build these models into our existing tools and processes, to enable data-driven operations across our GTM teams
Evolve and Operationalize ICP
Define, refine, and score Ideal Customer Profiles across stages, using behavioural, firmographic, and intent signals.
Enable Marketing & Sales with Account-Level Insight
Identify trends across the market, key accounts, and competitor moves, while providing clear views of market coverage, whitespace, penetration, and account prioritisation to shape campaigns, territory planning, and sales focus.
Lead Strategic Insight Projects
Support GTM Strategy & Planning
Contribute to strategic planning processes, such as annual planning, territory design, and support QBR/Board preparation with insight-rich analysis.
Experience and Skills
2+ years experience in strategy, market intelligence, analytics, or consulting
Proven ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret strategic insights from both internal and external data.
High intellectual curiosity and a passion for market dynamics and GTM strategy
Proficiency in data tools: Excel/Sheets, SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau); experience with enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Cognism, Clay) a plus. Experience with specific technologies is less important than a proven capability to quickly grasp new tools, showcasing a broad exploration of technologies driven by enthusiasm for the field.
Experience, and just as importantly, passion and demonstrable enthusiasm, for working with LLMs, prompting skills, and other AI tools and bots
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective team collaboration, capable of building strong relationships at all levels within the organization. Able to simplify complexity into clear, compelling frameworks
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
Background in B2B SaaS, familiarity with common go-to-market motions and metrics
Exposure to or understanding of the insurance industry, its dynamics, and buying processes
Practical experience with TAM modeling, market segmentation, and account scoring methodologies
This role would be suited to someone who has a technical research background and is now looking to develop their practical commercial skills
