Overview:
We are seeking Healthcare Industry Expert with experience in technology solutions and deep expertise in both payer and/or provider sectors. This role will support strategic services engagements of Genesys Cloud solutions in the healthcare sector with thought leadership, best practices, and solution roadmap development, while ensuring alignment to the Sales Healthcare strategy and vision. The ideal candidate understands the complex interplay between healthcare payers and providers, and brings experience navigating reimbursement models, value-based care, care delivery systems, and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
·Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on payer-provider dynamics and life cycle, understanding of key industry performance indicators, and well versed with regulation, and policy trends.
Guide the implementation of solutions and strategies that address the needs of both payers (e.g., insurance companies, managed care organizations) and providers (e.g., hospitals, health systems, physician groups).
A strong blend of technical acumen and customer-first mindset, with experience driving enterprise software adoption
Provide thought leadership and insights into healthcare regulations (e.g., CMS rules- Medicare/Medicaid policies, interoperability standards).
Demonstrates expertise with claims processes, clinical workflows, and operational processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality improvement, and cost savings.
Partner across PS roles and cross-functional teams (Sales, TAM, CSM) to shape service engagement plans.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of engaging executive stakeholders and presenting to C-Level Executives and above.
The ability to simplify complex technical concepts and align them with business goals.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or a related field; Master’s degree (MPH, MHA, MBA) preferred.
8–12 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with significant exposure to both payers and providers.
Strong understanding of value-based care, provider network management, claims processing, and population health.
Experience with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, ACA, HEDIS, NCQA, and CMS reporting requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Consulting experience or leadership roles in payer or provider organizations.
Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHRs, payer platforms, interoperability standards like HL7/FHIR).
Ability to interpret healthcare data and generate actionable insights using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS).
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$130,000.00 - $241,400.00
