As Finance Manager - Transformation Delivery, you'll be a key member of the Finance Operations & Transformation team, working closely with the GM - Finance Operations & Transformation and Head of Finance Systems to execute programmes that move the needle, driving efficiency and uplift across the CFO team. The Xero CFO Team undertakes the finance function for all of Xero’s worldwide operations.
You will have a finance background and proven ability to lead finance projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of CFO team projects and programmes of work, and also be an active participant in transformation initiatives across the wider business, and specifically across the Business Services functions. You will be a great team player who is proactive, engaging and a great communicator.
(Note: This role is a 15 month fixed term contract)

What you'll do- Play a key role in identifying areas for operational transformation within the CFO team, developing strategic plans and initiatives to drive efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration
- Support the execution and delivery of the CFO strategy and transformation roadmap by leading operationalisation of core programs of work across the wider CFO team
- Work in tandem with enabling functions, particularly the Finance Systems team, to implement transformation initiatives and leverage technology to enhance processes.
- Ensure we develop and embed operational frameworks to help us scale effectively and embed excellence in all that we design, build and deliver
- Build close relationships with supporting teams to ensure CFO initiatives are resourced and delivered to the business, including active participation in the Xero transformation programme of work
- Act as a change agent, promoting a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the CFO team and celebrating success and sharing knowledge as we progress
- Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration, encouraging teams to work smarter, faster, stronger, together
- Participate in significant corporate or company-wide finance projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO and EGM COE & Transformation
What you'll bring with you- Either CA qualified or similar post graduate qualification
- Proven track record of at least 8 years of relevant experience within finance roles (5 years post CA qualification), and preferably within a dynamic corporate
- Experience in managing the delivery of current and future strategic projects and working with teams performing cross-enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
- Experience of Transformation preferred, including tech-enabled or process improvement
- Specific experience with software companies desirable
- Strong planning, organisational and self-management skills with an ability to manage multiple competing priorities
