We’re looking for a technically skilled privacy & data protection specialist to join our team in Tallinn. In this role, you’ll provide both technical and generalist privacy support across teams, helping embed privacy into our product, processes, and AI-related initiatives. You’ll design and implement privacy-enhancing solutions while also managing day-to-day compliance tasks and contributing to strategic projects. Your new adventure:
- Provide technical and general privacy expertise across teams, including Engineering, Product, InfoSec and Marketing
- Design and implement privacy-enhancing solutions to complex privacy problems
- Embed privacy in product development through privacy by design principles, conducting technical reviews, and proposing actionable solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Support AI-related privacy reviews and contribute to daily regular AI governance discussions, providing technical insight on use cases and identifying privacy risks
- Handle strategic and operational privacy tasks, such as vendor onboarding and reviews, DPIAs, privacy audits, and project execution
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure internal practices align with evolving privacy laws and best practices
Does this sound like you?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technology-focused privacy role, preferably in software industry, with flexibility depending on background
- Strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience supporting product or engineering teams - ideally even AI-related privacy work
- Knowledge of core privacy and data protection principles and regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Understanding of information security principles and practices
- Experience working in or closely with privacy teams, including supporting technical privacy assessments and reviews
- Professional privacy certifications strongly preferred (e.g. CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM)
- Familiarity with ISO27001 and ISO27701 frameworks is a plus, as is experience with privacy-enhancing technologies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex privacy topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities quickly in an international fast-paced environment
