We are seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to join our expanding tax organization.
The Indirect Tax Analyst will play a key role supporting the indirect tax filings for India/APAC regions. You will also support certain tax compliances for India. You will also have a meaningful role in driving the department’s technology process. We look to you to support the tax process automation and improvement opportunities for the team.

As an Indirect Tax Analyst At Snowflake, You Will:
Prepare and review indirect tax returns: This includes GSTR1, GSTR 3B, annual return for India and other relevant indirect tax returns for India/APAC regions, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Reconcile tax accounts: Perform regular reconciliations of indirect tax accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Gather and analyze financial data: Collect and analyze relevant financial data from our ERP system to support indirect tax calculations and filings.
Research and interpret tax laws: Stay updated on changes in indirect tax laws and regulations across India/APAC regions and assess their impact on the company.
Support tax audits and inquiries: Assist with preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities during audits.
Maintain tax-related data and systems: Ensure accurate and up-to-date tax data in relevant systems and support the maintenance and enhancement of tax technology solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with AP, finance, accounting, IT, and other business units to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions and data flows.
Provide tax advice and guidance: Offer support and guidance to internal stakeholders on indirect tax matters.
Document tax processes and procedures: Create and maintain clear documentation of indirect tax processes and controls.
Identify and mitigate tax risks: Proactively identify potential indirect tax risks and propose solutions to minimize exposure.
Our Ideal Indirect Tax Analyst Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Tax, or Accounting, Chartered Accountant / CPA will be a plus
2-3 years of hands-on experience with India Indirect tax compliance
Experience with data querying and analysis is a plus
Good command of English speaking and writing
Basic knowledge about functions / usage of ERP systems
Capable of working independently while acting as part of a global tax team
Strong Excel knowledge and skills
Adaptive mindset, proactive and problem-solving attitude
