Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Microsoft 365 Specialist to play a key role in the support, management, and optimization of our global Microsoft 365 environment. Based in the UK, you will be an integral part of our international IT team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of core M365 services for users across multiple regions. This role requires a proactive individual with deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute to global M365 initiatives and standards while providing excellent support to our user base and collaborating with global IT counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced M365 Service Management: Provide expert-level administration and support for core Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams, with a focus on global best practices.
- Global Collaboration & Support: Act as a key technical resource for M365 related projects and escalations, collaborating with IT teams and users across different geographical locations.
- Security & Compliance Contribution: Implement and monitor M365 security configurations (e.g., Defender for Office 365, DLP, information protection) in line with global security policies and assist with compliance requirements.
- PowerShell for Automation & Complex Tasks: Utilize PowerShell scripting extensively to automate complex administrative tasks, generate insightful reports, and manage M365 configurations at scale.
- Service Optimization & Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for service improvement, efficiency gains, and enhanced user experience within the global M365 platform.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for global M365 systems and processes; share knowledge with other team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4+ years hands-on experience in administering complex Microsoft 365 environments, preferably with exposure to global or multi-national company operations.
- Deep Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune administration.
- Strong PowerShell Scripting: Proven ability to write, debug, and implement robust PowerShell scripts for M365 automation and management
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) or specialized certifications like Teams Voice Engineer, SharePoint Hybrid).
- Microsoft Intune: Experience with administration of Intune for device management.
