Position Overview
We seek an experienced, autonomous, and competent Field Marketing Manager to lead and execute all field marketing initiatives across the East region, which includes Eastern Canada (Ontario), the U.S. East Coast, and select inland states up to the Mississippi. This is not an entry-level field role—it requires someone who brings deep B2B cybersecurity experience, understands partner ecosystems, and operates on autopilot without a ton of daily direction (it is a start-up after all).
The ideal candidate will own the full spectrum of regional marketing strategy and execution, from live and virtual events to partner programs, pipeline acceleration, and alignment with sales teams and executive stakeholders. You’ll have a proven track record of influencing pipelines, championing creative programs, and leveraging advanced tools to measure impact and iterate.
What You’ll Do
Own the East regional marketing strategy: Develop and execute a 12-month integrated plan aligned to sales priorities, go-to-market strategy, and regional opportunities. Translate business goals into actionable, persona-informed programs that address key buyer pain points across the customer lifecycle.
Design and deliver high-impact events and experiences: Plan and execute CISO dinners, roundtables, golf outings, sporting events, and trade show activations. Own all logistics, contracts, vendor management, and follow-up processes. Lead pre-event prep and coordinate all communications with sales, SDRs, execs, and partners. Upload your leads, work with marketing ops to ensure proper tracking, and report on pipeline influence and outcomes.
Align closely with sales and channel teams: Collaborate with AEs and CAMs to interlock field marketing with sales motions. Participate in pipeline reviews, QBRs, and planning sessions. Proactively diagnose whitespace opportunities and activate programs that accelerate deals. Understand and support ABM and account scoring strategies.
Develop and manage channel and partner marketing: Create co-branded programs with VARs and alliance partners that align with joint sales goals. Execute channel-specific campaigns and events while tracking shared KPIs. Use account mapping, segmentation, and competitive insights to prioritize efforts.
Leverage advanced digital tools and analytics: Use business intelligence platforms, predictive analytics, and marketing automation to optimize campaign effectiveness. Analyze funnel performance, forecast demand, and provide actionable insights to leadership. Contribute to dashboards and executive-level reporting.
Own budget and performance metrics: Plan and manage regional budgets. Track spend vs. impact and adjust tactics based on real-time results. Understand demand, waterfall performance, and conversion velocity to improve program outcomes. Partner with Sales Team Leadership to review data and results regularly, ensure continual improvement, and share key insights with the broader team, both at the regional and national levels.
Contribute to campaign ideation and content strategy: Collaborate with global and product marketing on persona development, messaging, and localized content. Recommend program themes based on buyer insights, behavior, and market trends.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of field marketing experience in B2B technology (cybersecurity experience strongly preferred)
Experience working with East region enterprise accounts and their buying committees
Track record of building and executing integrated field programs that influence pipeline and accelerate deals
Consistently owned and managed 30+ field events per quarter, including executive dinners, regional conferences, partner activations, and thought leadership programs.
Strong understanding of the buyer’s journey, customer lifecycle, and demand generation best practices
Skilled in managing regional marketing budgets and reporting ROI to stakeholders
Confident working cross-functionally with sales, SDRs, partners, and marketing operations
Familiar with key marketing tools including Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Outreach, and Goldcast
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for sales, partners, and executives
High initiative and ownership—able to operate independently with minimal oversight
Preferably based in or near Boston or NYC, with willingness to travel for events in and out of the region (up to 30%)
What You Can Count On
Competitive salary and equity ($150,000 - $180,000/yr)
100% paid health benefits for you and your family
Flexible time off and a “get it done” culture
