This is a fully remote position and will require a new hire to be physically working from the country of Brazil with full working rights in Brazil.
Your Mission
As a Renewals Specialist at Propeller, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing the utilization of drone data at worksites worldwide. Working closely with our sales teams and reporting to the Account Management Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our renewal processes. This involves proactive communication with our customers and dealers throughout the renewal cycle, guaranteeing timely renewals and preventing churn. Prior customer-facing experience will be vital in helping you navigate these external relationships.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with our GTM (Go-To-Market) teams to complete renewal cycles. Your keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills will ensure that all upcoming renewals are managed effectively and completed on schedule.
While based in Brazil, this position primarily operates during North American business hours.

Each day, our dedicated customer success and sales teams engage in numerous conversations with construction sites, mines, quarries, and landfills, discussing their objectives, our services, and how we deliver ongoing value.
To enhance this process for our global accounts we are seeking a skilled Renewals Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging proactively and professionally with our customers and dealers and helping to optimize Propeller’s systems and processes, including SaaS tools like HubSpot and Gainsight. As we continue to expand our customer base, your primary focus will be on maximizing on-time renewals to prevent churn, making your contribution crucial to our Propeller’s success and financial health.
Responsibilities
- Own the renewal transactions for your dedicated book of business to ensure on-time renewals and churn and contraction prevention.
- Drive strong collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure the success of key metrics including on-time renewal rate, retention rate, and consistent activity (emails and calls) across your book of business,
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in line with our approved pricing model.
- Work closely with account owners to ensure seamless customer experience. This includes timely CRM updates and management.
- Renewals Specialists will be expected to generate leads from their books of business and will submit these to Account Managers to close.
- Communicate with customers and dealers in the designated renewal window via email and phone to discuss the terms of the customer’s renewal, including negotiating within approved pricing and discount guardrails; escalate exceptions for approval.
- Ensure all customer and dealer communications are recorded properly in designated systems. Process all necessary documentation and paperwork to finalize renewals.
- Ensure all renewal activity complies with internal approval workflows, contract terms, and relevant revenue recognition policies.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers and/or Sales team to provide seamless customer support during renewal cycles.
- Maintain an accurate 90-day rolling view of renewals assigned to you, including status, relevant updates, and revenue forecast.
- Proficiency with Hubspot, Gainsight, and related tools is a plus.
Your Skills
- 1+ years in a customer-facing role (ideally in order management, renewals management, account management, or software sales) with a proven ability to engage with customers and/or partners via clear, timely, and professional email communications and phone conversations as part of discussing pricing and contract terms.
- Experience working remotely with global teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and order management processes for software. Experience with selling hardware is a plus.
- Ability to proactively identify problems and own solutions to improve sales and renewal processes. Proven experience generating leads from existing accounts, as well as partnering with cross-functional teams on expansion opportunities, is ideal.
Bonus points for personal experience with, or working knowledge of
- HubSpot or Gainsight.
- Experience working as part of a channel partner sales model.
- The drone mapping industry.
- Spanish speaking as well.
