HR Generalist - EMEA (Poland)

Snowflake is seeking an HR Generalist to support our EMEA region, with a focus on Poland, by providing a full range of HR support. This role is based in our Warsaw office and requires a minimum of three days of in-office attendance per week.
The successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA HRBP team, Engineering and Go-to-Market managers, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and key stakeholders to advise and support client groups on matters related to but not limited to People Programs and Employee Relations.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Sales and Engineering teams and be comfortable handling a wide range of HR administrative and operational tasks. Ideally, they will have a solid understanding of the technology space, be able to support client groups with data-driven insights, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong organizational skills are key.
They should be motivated to make a meaningful impact across several critical business areas within the function and thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment. This position reports directly to the Manager, HRBP Poland.
AS A HR GENERALIST - EMEA AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Support the EMEA HRBPs team in implementing and embedding new strategies and initiatives across the organisation. This includes roll out of approved global programs, execution of job and organization design, change management and communications.
Support all LOA administration across EMEA in non-core countries i.e. META, Nordics, Benelux, etc.
Compile all required reports for monthly payroll across EMEA i.e. on-call, LOA, Terminations, holiday balances
Actively contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and practices and review in line with legislation, current best practice and Snowflake requirements.
Lead on discrete operational projects which improve service delivery as required.
Liaise with the finance team, as well as internal and external payroll teams, and maintain effective operational coordination with them
To provide first line generalist HR advice and support employees and managers on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies and procedures, with a view to resolving matters on advice. This includes processing individual employee questions in relation to employment conditions, compensation, leaves, etc (Lift tickets).
Manage operational interface with EOR vendor for existing and expansion countries for EMEA.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy as needed.
Undertake continuing professional development including attending training as/when required.
OUR IDEAL HR GENERALIST WILL HAVE:
Experience supporting Sales and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
A solid understanding of HR operations and administrative processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The ability to manage day-to-day HR tasks such as onboarding, data management, employee documentation, and coordination with internal teams
Familiarity with the technology sector (a plus)
Familiarity with Workday is a plus
A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams
Comfort working with HR systems and tools, and using data to support decision-making
