About the Role:
Wrike is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Associate to join our Expand sales department as part of our early-career program. As a BDA, you’ll gain exposure to all areas of sales—from outbound prospecting and customer engagement to supporting our cutting-edge AI-driven sales motion. You'll receive hands-on coaching, learn best-in-class sales and technology tools, and play a key supporting role alongside our experienced sales teams. This is an entry-level opportunity designed to prepare you for promotion into a full-time sales development, inside sales, or business development position at Wrike.
Your Impact:
- Get hands-on experience supporting lead generation, outbound prospecting, and inbound lead qualification activities.
- Rotate through different sales focus areas, learning from Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs).
- Help identify and research target prospects and companies across both new and existing customer segments.
- Assist with outbound outreach (phone/email/social), and support pipeline-building through high-quality data entry and CRM management.
- Participate in the rollout and ongoing support of our AI initiative, helping to test and optimize new automation and outreach technologies.
- Collaborate closely with your coach/manager and other BDAs in a learning-focused environment, sharing ideas and best practices.
- Work toward an achievable, learning-oriented quota for qualified opportunities and nurture prospects identified as good long-term fits.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (any field) or equivalent relevant experience
- Opportunity is ideal for new grads or candidates seeking their first professional sales opportunity
- Strong communication skills and curiosity to learn about sales and business development
- Organized, reliable, and eager to take initiative in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable using standard productivity and collaboration tools; interest in learning sales technology (CRM, outreach tools, AI platforms)
- Friendly, energetic, and collaborative team player with a willingness to pitch in and learn
Standout Qualities:
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, marketing, or related areas (internships, campus orgs, part-time jobs, etc.)
- Any experience with CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce), or with sales/marketing research tools is a plus
- Enthusiasm for technology-enabled workflows and exploring new tools like AI xDR
- A positive, growth-oriented mindset; not afraid to ask questions or try new things
