Snowflake is searching for an exceptional Head of Treasury to lead our high-performing Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing treasury strategies that directly underpin Snowflake's rapid expansion and our mission to mobilize the world's data with the AI Data Cloud.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in Snowflake’s Menlo Park, CA, or Dublin, CA office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead and empower a high-performing global Treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across diverse time zones.
Oversee all facets of global treasury operations, including best-in-class cash management, precise liquidity forecasting, strategic funding initiatives, and robust banking infrastructure.
Develop and/or review complex financial models (cash forecast, interest income forecast, FX exposure, DCF) in collaboration with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and other stakeholders to support cash forecasting and capital market activities.
Lead and strengthen banking relationships, negotiate contracts and fees that support our global scale and operational efficiency.
Champion process improvement and innovative solutions to scale treasury functions. You'll partner closely with Finance and other business teams, leveraging data and automation to scale our capabilities and empower our team.
Lead investment strategies, optimizing returns in alignment with Snowflake's risk profile and liquidity needs, contributing directly to our long-term financial health.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and credit exposures, safeguarding Snowflake's assets.
Ensure robust policies and procedures to remain compliant with all financial regulations, treasury management activities, and SOX controls
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
You possess a track record of leading, scaling, and transforming global treasury functions at an enterprise level, ideally within a high-growth, publicly traded technology company.
You are a strategic visionary with the ability to foresee financial trends, translate complex market dynamics into actionable treasury strategies, and influence executive leadership.
You will have experience dealing with credit rating agencies, managing our debt/equity capital structure, including share repurchase and convertible note issuance and refinancing.
You have deep, hands-on expertise and a comprehensive understanding of advanced cash management techniques, sophisticated liquidity modeling, complex financial risk management (FX, interest rate, credit), and strategic investment portfolio management.
You are an analytical thinker with a proven ability to drive efficiency and implement transformative solutions through process re-engineering and cutting-edge technology adoption.
You possess a high level of communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective influence and collaboration with executive stakeholders, external financial partners, and a globally distributed team.
You are proactive, highly adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and high-pressure executive environment.
