Overview: As a Software Engineer within the Syncsort Capacity Management Team you will be responsible for developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining solutions based on specific customer requirements. Development will be full-stack and require using a mix of technologies. We follow an agile scrum methodology, and Software Engineers will need to demonstrate strong communication skills as well as an aptitude for problem solving helping on support issues.
What you will do:
- Writing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Developing back end n-tier applications.
- Developing front end web page application.
- Maintaining complex database functionality.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, full developer testing and product regression testing before release.
- Analysis and resolution of customer support issues, including direct liaison with customers.
- Working in an agile scrum team, helping design solutions, understand requirements, estimating work and ensuring agreed timelines and deliverables are met.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development. Show good experience of full stack development.
- Understanding of software design principals, software development lifecycle, system design, networking architecture, and database systems and concepts.
- You must have good demonstrable knowledge of the following languages and technologies:
- C#
- .NET Framework
- Entity Framework
- API Development
- T-SQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
- HTML/CSS
- Javascript
- It would be great to having the following skills, but not required:
- AngularJS
- C++
- TFS (Build)
- Agile / Scrum
