We're hiring multiple roles across our Salesforce portfolio, these are hands-on "on the tools" positions at various seniority levels; including Intermediate and Senior Salesforce Engineers/Developers.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Salesforce Engineers to join one of ANZ’s largest and most comprehensive Salesforce implementations. These are pivotal roles at the forefront of building, enhancing, and supporting elegant and scalable Salesforce solutions.
Working within our expansive and highly customized Salesforce instance, you will be instrumental in driving sustainably excellent engineering. You will thrive in our DevOps-focused environment, contributing to continuous delivery and collaborating seamlessly with hybrid teams spread across numerous cities. You're a hands-on expert in Salesforce development and engineering best practices, passionate about crafting robust and impactful software that truly meets user needs.
About the teams
We're recruiting for multiple teams within Xero’s Customer Platforms group.
The Grow domain manages the Sales & Marketing Technology for Xero. - Within Grow, our remit is focused on Customer Acquisition and Engagement.
We work with stakeholders to enable new capabilities helping Xero scale and improve our external customers and internal users experience. We work with systems like, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, Qualtrics, CRM Analytics and other tools to better enable Xero to achieve their strategic objectives.
The Customer Love domain works on the Salesforce core platform; including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, plus other 3rd party add-ons/integrations on our tech stack.
We help Xero in enhancing and supporting the use of Sales, Service and Experience Clouds, focusing on sustainably excellent engineering.

What you'll bring: - Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with a globally dispersed team and stakeholders.
- Proactive Self-Starter: Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and driving solutions forward without constant supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to code quality, testing, and documentation, ensuring precision in all deliverables.
- Strong Salesforce Knowledge: Previous experience implementing and supporting various Salesforce solutions, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud (ideally in enterprise-level organizations).
- Proficiency in the use of one or more Salesforce programming languages: Apex, JavaScript, Aura, Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with Salesforce development and implementation lifecycle, including deployment tools and processes such as GitHub, SFDX, and DX CLI.
- Large-Scale Environment: Experience working in large, complex, and highly customized Salesforce instances, understanding the nuances of data volume and platform limits
