We are Storyclash - a young, fast growing software company, "Linzer Unternehmen des Jahres" and "Born Global Champion". Consumer brands use our Influencer Marketing Platform to discover and analyze brand-fit creators based on their published content. Our technology allows marketing teams to track and measure the content creator’s work across any social media platform, including Instagram Stories and Tiktok. Through the content-based approach our clients receive high quality insights into the work of influencers, allowing them to look into previously hidden content and beyond vanity metrics.
As a multilingual company, we are a team of driven and diverse individuals from different nationalities and backgrounds. We believe in working with people that have the attitude and the mindset for great products. We value teamwork and a collaborative atmosphere as the foundation for all the great things we can achieve.
Are you passionate about product quality, with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for meticulously ensuring every user story comes to life perfectly? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your precise testing directly contributes to a smooth user experience? If so, we want you on our team!
Your Responsibilities:
As our QA Engineer, you'll be a meticulous guardian of our product's quality, focusing on both hands-on functional validation and actively driving our automation efforts. Your day-to-day will be a mix of:
- Thorough Functional Testing: Meticulously review and test implemented features against user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications to ensure precise functional correctness and seamless user flow adherence.
- Design & Usability Validation: Rigorously test the frontend for visual consistency, responsiveness, and overall usability, ensuring every pixel aligns with design mockups.
- Driving Automation Development: Actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and expansion of our automated test suites for web-based frontend applications using modern frameworks (like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium). You'll identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Execute & Expand Test Coverage: Perform comprehensive manual and exploratory testing to uncover bugs, edge cases, and ensure a seamless user experience, while also working to convert suitable manual tests into automated ones.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking: Accurately identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, working closely with developers for efficient resolution.
- Integrate Quality: Support the integration of automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
- Collaborate Actively: Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to understand requirements, refine user stories, and provide timely quality feedback across teams.
