As a Software Engineer Android, you will
- Work with a modern tech stack, including Kotlin, Gradle, Coroutines, Dagger, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Kotest, Maestro, and more
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and testable code
- Contribute across the entire development lifecycle — from product ideation and architecture to implementation and delivery
- Build new features, enhance existing ones, and troubleshoot complex issues
- Proactively improve code structure and architecture for better maintainability and testability
- Champion code quality through automated testing and thoughtful code reviews (both giving and receiving)
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to keep our solutions cutting-edge
It would be great if you have
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid Kotlin/Java expertise, with hands-on professional experience in software development and architectural design
- Experience with Git and general development workflows
- A passion for clean code, design patterns, and software craftsmanship — including testing best practices
- Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills
- A proactive mindset with self-awareness and a desire to continuously learn
- Resilience and positivity in the face of challenges or unexpected issues
- A high level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- A strong sense of ownership and urgency when it comes to product quality and delivery
It would be even better if you have
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning — especially when venturing into new or unfamiliar territory
- Experience developing SDKs or libraries for external use
- Exposure to (cross-platform) mobile development beyond Android (e.g., iOS, React Native, Flutter)
- Background in video playback, streaming, or multimedia technologies
