At Rerun, we’re building the multimodal data stack for Physical AI. Large parts of the physical-world economy will be transformed by these technologies, and we're developing the data infrastructure and tools that make it possible. Rerun’s open-source project focuses on visualizing and handling multimodal logs and is already loved by some of the best teams in the world.
We are looking for a content-first DevRel to help us tell the story of Rerun. You’ll create engaging content, showcase what’s possible with our tools, and grow our community of robotics and ML engineers.
If you love making technical tools approachable, telling stories through content, and connecting with developers where they are, this role is for you.
What You’ll Work On
90% Content & Storytelling
Create a steady stream of engaging content: short-form videos, blog posts, memes, examples, GIFs, tutorials.
Build demos and examples in Rust and Python that help robotics engineers quickly go from “I learned this” to “I can try this myself.”
Curate and share content across channels (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, HN, robotics/ML forums).
Be in the front row of Physical AI: implement and highlight relevant papers, projects, and research.
Bring personality and polish to everything you publish.
10% OSS Support & Community Touchpoint
Triage and answer GitHub issues, PRs, and Slack/Discord questions.
Keep docs and quickstarts clear, helpful, and fresh.
Reduce support load on our engineers so they can focus on product development.
We’d Love It If You Have
Prior experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or technical content.
Robotics experience and curiosity: you get the field and can spot where our tools fit in
Technical credibility: comfortable with Rust and Python to write small examples, demos, and tutorials.
Natural content producer: you already blog, post, or share your work (YouTube, GitHub, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.) and have a following on social platforms or a history of creating technical content
Storyteller mindset: you can explain technical tools in a fun, polished, and approachable way.
Community-oriented: active where developers hang out (Twitter/X, Reddit, HN, Discord, LinkedIn) and excited to engage with robotics/ML/Rust communities.
Empathy for developers: you understand how engineers think and can communicate in their language.
Bias for action: you publish often, experiment, and learn fast.
Aptitude for communication: you enjoy helping others, answering questions, and building clarity.
