Algolia is an aggressively positioned, post-series D SaaS company focused on AI driven Search as a Service. We are looking for a Senior IT Application engineer for a remote position in the United States. This is a succession position that will be split 70/30 in application management and project management. This position may have up to 10% travel.

Application Responsibilities:
- Manage software and service relationships and associated contracts with major vendors.
- Study and master the Algolia user tech stack, inside and outside of IT, including both fine-level details and overarching strategic goals.
- Administrate the IS and IAM tech stack with specialization in Okta, Gsuite, Atlassian, Obsidian and Slack.
- Coordinate across Algolia teams to design and manage effective and efficient internal SaaS deployments.
- Ally with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to maintain the safety of our people and products.
- Create documentation to enable end users to interact with our hardware and software systems.
- Engage in the development of less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical support experience.
- 7+ years managing IT environments.
- A Masters in Computer Science or its equivalent.
- Expertise with macOS and Windows as well as familiarity with Linux.
- Experience at our current stage and beyond ($50-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)
