đ HELLO, CMS IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST
Itâs funny to think youâre reading this, even though we havenât actually met yet. But, given that youâre the person whoâs going to help our amazing clients launch best-in-class referral programs, we just wanted to say hi.
Leanne, our Head of Content Management, is especially excited to meet you â partly because sheâs brilliant and a joy to work with, but mostly because she knows how essential this role is to launching successful client programs. And with Buyapowa entering our biggest period of global growth ever, nowâs the perfect time to jump on board.
So, welcome to Buyapowa. We canât wait for you to start.
đ WHO WE ARE
Traditional marketing is dead. Thatâs why weâre building what comes next â a whole new acquisition channel based on how people actually shop today: through friends, family, and word of mouth.
We power the referral programs for brands like T-Mobile, Vodafone, British Gas, Vitality, L'OrĂŠal and more â helping them turn loyal customers into powerful advocates.
Now, with 10+ years of success behind us and global growth ahead, weâre on the lookout for bold, clever, hands-on people to help us shape the future of customer acquisition.
𧊠THE ROLE
This is not a marketing job. Youâre not here to run ad campaigns or write blog posts.
As a CMS Implementation Specialist, youâll play a crucial operational role in helping clients launch and maintain successful referral programs. Your mission: guide them through the content collection process, review and finesse what they provide, then bring it all to life using our CMS. Once youâre up to speed, youâll become a CMS expertâbuilding, styling, and updating programs with confidence.
Youâll also feed into improving our tools and processes, and occasionally step in to write client content yourself when needed.
This role sits right at the intersection of client experience, product, and operations. If you're detail-obsessed, systems-driven, and want to have a direct impact on the success of global brandsâread on.
â
WHAT YOUâLL DO
- Build and configure referral programs using Buyapowaâs proprietary CMS, plugging in content, styling interfaces, and aligning every element with the clientâs tone of voice, brand guidelines, and overall online journey.
- Manage the full content process during onboarding and program updates â from running content kick-off meetings, to translating process flows into actionable briefs and collaborative content sheets.
- Work directly with clients (and their agencies) to issue clear content, copywriting, and graphic design briefs, ensuring all required assets are delivered on time and meet expectations.
- Review, rewrite, and finesse client-supplied copy, advising on improvements to bring it in line with best practices, optimise usability, and maximise conversion.
- Create mock-ups and wireframes where needed, to help clients visualise the final journey and support decision-making.
- Configure rewards and payments in conjunction with second- and third-party providers, working closely with our Product and Client Success teams to ensure accurate setup and tracking.
- Handle multilingual programs, coordinating translations and ensuring correct implementation across variants.
- Manage documentation and version control, maintaining transparency throughout the onboarding and update processes.
- Troubleshoot CMS issues, support other internal teams (PMs, CSMs, Product) with front-end implementation needs, and keep the content production pipeline running smoothly.
- Own the end-to-end implementation timeline, making sure deliverables are hit, stakeholders are kept informed, and program launches (and updates) go out on time and error-free.
- Update and maintain live programs in response to changing brand guidelines, platform upgrades, technical improvements, offer changes, reward updates, and T&C revisions.
- Iterate and improve â actively monitor program performance and recommend adjustments to content, UX, or proposition design to drive better results.
đ§ YOU ARE:
- Meticulously detail-oriented and comfortable juggling lots of moving parts.
- A strong communicator in written and spoken English.
- Tech-comfortableâsomeone who enjoys learning new platforms and figuring out how they tick.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely, but collaborative when needed.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a healthy respect for deadlines and client expectations.
- Able to think like a user, act like a project manager, and write like a pro (even if just occasionally).
đ BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Experience with CMS platforms, UX, digital content, or product-focused roles.
- A background in copywriting, editorial, or brand content.
- Comfort working with brand guidelines and design principles.
- Fluency in other languages (especially French or Spanish).
