Job Description
Job Title: PS Finance Manager
Department & Team: Finance; PS Finance Shared Services
Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance Operations
Location: Manila
Summary:
The PS Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Professional Services (PS) Finance processes within the Finance Shared Services team based in Manila. This role ensures that all financial deliverables are completed accurately and on time. The position requires strong collaboration with both local and global finance teams to provide comprehensive financial and operational support. The PS Finance Manager will work closely with Strategic Finance, Controllership, and the PS Operations team to align with business objectives and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end deliverables of the PS Finance team, ensuring alignment and coordination with relevant stakeholders and departments.
- Partner closely with business units including PS In-Region Analysts, Strategic Finance, Revenue PS Operations, and other CAO organizations to address issues, resolve queries, and support business needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for management, including project profitability, cost analysis, and other key metrics.
- Manage internal and SOX audits, ensuring all requirements are met and robust controls are in place across all processes.
- Oversee the team’s month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, initiating, and leading enhancements to existing processes and workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, which may include supervisors, associate managers, and/or other managers, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regularly review process documentation, and ensure proper inventory and repository management.
- Actively contribute to global and Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) projects and initiatives, providing insights and support as needed.
- Provide support and guidance during the implementation of new ERP systems, ensuring smooth transition and integration.
- Ensure all cost and revenue management activities comply with company policies and US GAAP standards.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- 8–10 years of relevant finance experience within multinational companies, experience in a BPO or Shared Services environment required
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a leadership role, managing teams of varying sizes and levels.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from contract review to project closure.
- Proficiency in using large-scale ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, ideally within publicly listed multinational organizations with complex reporting structures.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, stakeholder engagement, business partnering, and strategic decision-making.
