As a Renewal Specialist, you will maintain relationships with AMER Velocity customers, focussing on retention, ensuring predictable renewals, implementing preemptive measures to enhance retention and improve our renewal base.

You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you wear many hats and leverage your strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive customer retention. As a Renewals Specialist, you will:

Maintain strong relationships with customers for account management and renewal support
Serve as the renewals owner, proactively resolving issues, mitigating churn risks, and closing renewal contracts
Develop expertise in Amplitude’s product to conduct discovery calls, tailored demos, and value driven presentations
Identify early churn signals through data analysis of product usage and contract trends
Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk to streamline approvals and contract resolutions
Create detailed renewal quotes and ensure necessary approvals are secured
Accurately forecast renewal outcomes for the current and next quarter by maintaining updated pipeline data
Provide regular status updates and transparency into churn risk and forecast outcomes
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, generating expansion leads for Account Executives

Analytical mindset with a knack for improving workflows and handling high volume portfolios

Curiosity & motivation to learn: you’re eager to understand our product inside and out so you can effectively communicate its value
Previous experience with Gainsight & Salesforce is a huge plus

At a minimum, you need to have:

2+ years of experience in account or renewal management within a high-volume B2B SaaS environment
Strong work ethic, customer-first mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile
Commitment: Goal-oriented, hands-on, and get-things-done attitude
Composure: Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines

Based on legislation in New York City and San Francisco, CA, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City or San Francisco. Salary range: $94,000 - $141,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
