PagerDuty is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our diverse, customer-focused team! The Senior HRIS Analyst is a member of the centralized, dedicated Workday HRIS Team, working together to ensure effective use of the system by updating, configuring, improving, and providing expertise on the system to cross-functional stakeholders. As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, communication, maintenance, and administration in support of our HRIS strategy. *Important note - This role can be hired remote USA or Remote Canada, but candidates who are currently located near the Atlanta or Toronto PagerDuty hub are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support for our Workday Modules (Core HCM, Absence, Time Keeping, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, etc.), including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Collaborates with functional and technical system stakeholders to streamline processes, advise on new functionality, and promote user adoption.
- Participates in the review, testing, and implementation of feature releases.
- Documents process and results following our SOX compliance change management process.
- Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running audits and analyzing data.
- Engage with the Workday community to understand system capabilities and recommend solutions to address business needs.
- Act as a system consultant to process and program owners.
Basic Requirements:
- 4-5 years of Workday configuration experience.
- Proficient with EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-focused company.
- Proven ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and priorities, and able to pivot when priorities change.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on execution, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Experience developing and implementing business and system process improvements and setting standards.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Pro Certification in any Workday module (e.g. HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Advanced Comp, etc.).
- Agile or Scrum certification.
- A passion for People/HR technology.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Google Suite.
The base salary range for this position is 114,000 - 191,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
