About the team/role
Checkr is seeking a dynamic Content Operations Manager to lead the evolution of our digital content engine. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the growth marketing content strategy by harnessing AI and agentic workflows to generate a variety of content assets—articles, videos, scripts, emails, landing pages, and more—designed to elevate both B2B and B2C business growth. You will architect and refine AI-powered editorial workflows, ensuring that each output aligns with Checkr’s brand voice, quality standards, and compliance requirements. You’ll partner with Marketing, Web Operations, Growth, and Legal teams to build efficient content systems—ticketing platforms, production roadmaps, publishing pipelines—and drive impactful assets that support SEO, digital PR, brand presence, and broader growth initiatives.
Your success will stem from a unique blend of creativity, operational rigor, and AI fluency. You’ll bring deep expertise in generative AI tools and prompt engineering, alongside editorial acumen to fine-tune content assets with clarity, consistency, and brand integrity. Skilled in building scalable systems, you’ll implement workflows and tools that enhance visibility, efficiency, and accountability across the content lifecycle. You are a proactive learner—constantly staying ahead of evolving AI and content trends—and a collaborator at heart, adept at working cross-functionally to align content strategy with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Define and lead the content strategy for growth marketing: Orchestrate content initiatives across teams and channels, ensuring every asset advances business outcomes, reinforces brand voice, and creates a cohesive customer journey.
- Create digital content assets: Generate new digital content assets for Checkr products; articles, videos, scripts, posts, emails, and landing page copy—through AI and agentic workflows.
- Build editorial workflows: Refine editorial processes using AI tools and systems; ensure consistent quality, brand voice, and compliance best-practices.
- Align content with business objectives: Curate content to contribute to business growth across B2B and B2C products; content assets to support SEO, web, brand, and marketing initiatives.
Manage and build content operations systems: Create efficient, transparent ticketing systems and roadmaps; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize asset production for various use cases.
- Support asset publishing and implementation: Oversee asset publication processes; collaborate with web operations teams and self-serve asset publishing across Checkr website properties.
- Run third-party digital PR campaigns: Contribute to growing Checkr’s online presence; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build digital PR campaigns, optimized referral profiles, and online communities.

- Operational & system builder: Demonstrated ability to build scalable content operations systems; workflow orchestration and ticketing systems that streamline content asset production.
- Strong editorial & brand sensibility: Exceptional attention to detail and brand voice; experienced in refining AI-generated content to maintain clarity, compliance, style consistency, and brand integrity.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with Marketing, Legal, Web Ops, and Growth teams to align content asset production with broader business goals.
- Adaptive & continuous learner: Strong growth mindset and curiosity; actively stays ahead of AI and content trends, experiments with emerging tools and workflows, and iterates processes to drive quality and efficiency.

At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, and Santiago, Chile. We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. The base salary range for this role is $118,000 to $139,000 in San Francisco, CA.
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $118,000 in Denver, CO.
