Summary
The Associate Software Engineer plays a key role on the Marketplace Engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of OneStream Solutions offered through the Solution Exchange. This position requires a strong understanding of modern software development principles and practices, especially within Microsoft technologies. The Associate Software Engineer collaborates closely with team members and other engineering teams, reporting directly to the Manager of Software Engineering.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Integrate with various data storage solutions.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying bottlenecks and bugs.
- Maintain code quality through testing, organization, and automation.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing OneStream solutions.
Required Education and Experience
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
- 1+ years of hands-on programming experience.
- Experience with Microsoft-based technologies, including:
- C#, Entity Framework/SQL, Angular, ASP.NET, Git, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian suite.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and common design/architectural patterns.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
