About the Role
GoMo Health is seeking an accomplished and motivated Strategic Sales Executive to drive growth for our proven, widely deployed and award-winning member and patient engagement GoMo Enterprise Engagement Platform. This individual will be responsible for expanding our footprint across health plans – including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial health plans, helping them enhance member engagement, improve outcomes, and advance population health initiatives through the GoMo personalized machine learning behavior modification science, proven health-at-home and work care pathways, and technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead new business development by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with regional and national health plans.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that targets senior-level decision-makers — including executives in member experience, clinical operations, population health, and digital transformation.
- Present the value and ROI of our digital engagement platform, demonstrating how it drives measurable improvements in member activation, retention, HEDIS/STARS performance, and health outcomes.
- Manage the entire enterprise sales cycle, from initial prospecting through proposal, contract negotiation, and handoff to implementation teams.
- Partner closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine go-to-market strategies and ensure long-term client satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust, accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Keep current on trends in digital health engagement, SDOH strategies, value-based care, and health equity within Medicaid and Medicare programs.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and client events, acting as a thought leader and brand ambassador for our digital engagement approach.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years selling similar or correlated solutions directly to health plans.
- 5–10+ years of enterprise sales experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or digital engagement platforms.
- Proven success selling solutions to health plans, particularly Medicaid and Medicare Advantage organizations.
- Strong understanding of member engagement, care management workflows, and population health analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to sell digital transformation or member engagement technologies (e.g., multi-channel communication, AI-driven outreach, behavior change, or personalization tools).
- Established relationships with payer executives across departments such as member experience, quality improvement, and clinical operations.
- History of meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar annual quotas in a consultative enterprise sales environment.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate platform capabilities into business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Requirements
- Available to work our standard office hours of 8:30 AM (EST) – 5:30 PM (EST)
- Available for onscreen video for all internal and external meetings
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with digital health engagement metrics (e.g., activation rates, message open/click rates, utilization lift, retention improvements).
- Understanding of CMS and state Medicaid quality frameworks (HEDIS, STARS, CAHPS, NCQA).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
- Consultative selling approach grounded in data, ROI modeling, and value realization.
Physical Demand:
- Physical demands for GoMo Health positions may include being sedentary for long periods of time. Entering text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard is also a requirement.

While our company is headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, remote candidates throughout the US will be considered. Candidates must be willing to visit the NJ location/clients for project and corporate meetings as appropriate and requested, and be camera-ready for all virtual meetings.
