As a Customer Support Intern in our Performance Pillar, you’ll focus on supporting OneStream’s application performance by helping our customers maintain optimal system efficiency. This role is ideal for candidates interested in learning about cloud performance, customer support operations, and diagnostic tools in a high-growth tech environment.
This Internship requires the successful individual to live within easy commutable distance to our office in Michigan (Rochester (South), Birmingham, Rochester (Parkdale))
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in the OneStream platform with a focus on application performance.
- Use ServiceNow to track and manage customer support cases.
- Work with tools such as Dynatrace and Azure to identify and troubleshoot customer application performance issues.
- Learn how to effectively support, engage, and communicate with OneStream customers through support cases.
- Assist with troubleshooting SQL queries to diagnose performance issues.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve support cases related to application performance.
- Author knowledge base articles focused on application performance best practices and troubleshooting tips.
- Submit customer environment resize requests to optimize performance.
- Support management with strategic projects related to customer support and performance optimization.
Required Education and Experience
- In pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or graduate-level degree in a relevant business area such as Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 0 GPA or Higher
Preferred Education and Experience
- Junior, Senior and Graduate-level students preferred (graduating between December 2026 and May 2027).
- Previous internship experience is nice to have but not necessarily required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills.
- attention to detail.
- A team-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn.
Travel
- Expected 1 to 3 days a week in the office , the rest of the time is remote, home based.
