About the Role:
As Wrike continues to scale globally, we’re reimagining how People Operations can deliver consistent, high-quality employee experiences while maintaining operational agility and compliance across regions.
We’re looking for a Team Lead, People Operations who can lead this evolution—balancing strategy with execution. You’ll manage a small, distributed team while serving as the hands-on operational lead for an assigned region. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, global environment, driving clarity, scalability, and service excellence across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Team Dynamics:
This role reports to the HR Operations Leader and partners closely with stakeholders across multiple global time zones. The primary focus will be supporting our Cyprus, EMEA and APAC region.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Regional People Operations Specialists, fostering performance, accountability, and shared best practices.
- Set clear expectations, provide continuous feedback, and support professional growth.
- Drive consistency in service delivery and operational execution while honoring local cultural and regulatory nuances.
- Establish scalable operating rhythms that balance flexibility with standardization.
- Serve as a player-coach—acting as both team leader and hands-on regional specialist for your assigned territory.
Employee Lifecycle & Experience
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, and global transfers.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, IT, HRBPs, and other functions to ensure smooth and compliant transitions.
- Continuously evaluate workflows to reduce friction, increase clarity of handoffs, and deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
- Identify and lead opportunities for process optimization and operational excellence.
Benefits, Leave, and Well-Being Programs
- Oversee administration of country-specific benefits and leave programs—ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global frameworks.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to standardize processes where possible while maintaining flexibility for regional needs.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on benefits and leave matters.
- Support regional health and safety compliance and program execution.
Compliance, Risk, and Governance
- Maintain awareness of regional employment regulations, proactively ensuring compliance across assigned jurisdictions.
- Partner with Legal and HR leadership to adapt policies and practices to evolving legal requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, audits, and documentation reviews to ensure clean governance and reliable data integrity.
- Build and maintain scalable documentation to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
Service Delivery
- Oversee day-to-day employee inquiry management and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Strengthen service delivery through automation, process mapping, and collaboration tools.
- Support knowledge base and self-service resource development to enhance scalability
- Partner with Payroll to validate inputs (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, leaves) for accuracy and timeliness.
Your Qualifications:
- Global People Operations Expert: You bring 4–6 years of HR Operations experience across Cyprus, APAC, and international markets, with deep knowledge of compliance, benefits, and service delivery. You understand how to scale processes globally while honoring local needs.
- Operational Leader & Coach: You’ve led small or distributed teams—balancing day-to-day execution with mentorship and accountability. You lead with empathy and clarity, fostering a culture of growth, ownership, and trust.
- Compliance & Risk Steward: You have proven expertise in navigating employment law, benefits, and payroll fundamentals across multiple jurisdictions. You’re detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and proactive about mitigating risk.
- Process Optimizer: You thrive on clarity and structure. You simplify complex workflows, strengthen documentation, and design operational processes that scale sustainably.
- Cross-Functional Partner: You collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and IT to deliver seamless, employee-focused outcomes. You communicate with precision and adapt your approach to different audiences.
- Global Mindset & Cultural Agility: You’re fluent in English and Greek and skilled at working across time zones and cultures—balancing global consistency with local relevance.
