Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Solutions Architect role sits at a common pressure point in modern SaaS: translating complex customer planning needs into a configured, production-grade enterprise platform. With Pigment positioned as a high-growth EPM vendor serving large, multi-stakeholder organisations, the work reflects the realities of enterprise SaaS adoption—data-heavy implementations, change management, and repeatable deployment patterns that must scale across industries.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable skills at the intersection of solution design, implementation, and product feedback loops. It offers sustained exposure to how subscription software succeeds after the contract is signed: requirements shaping, model design, integration via APIs/connectors, and enablement that drives long-term product usage. The emphasis on documentation, UAT, and partner quality also mirrors how mature SaaS companies industrialise delivery without losing customer outcomes.
This position best suits professionals who enjoy structured problem-solving with unstructured inputs and can move between business context and technical architecture without over-indexing on either. It will resonate with those who prefer customer-facing work that is hands-on and iterative, and who want to be close to product evolution while operating in implementation-led cycles.
