Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Dashlane operates in a mature SaaS category where trust and reliability are part of the product. A Core Features Engineering Manager role in this context sits close to the surfaces customers interact with daily, while also being shaped by security expectations and web-extension constraints. The listing signals work that spans both B2C and B2B use cases, which is a common pattern in SaaS companies balancing individual adoption with organizational rollout.
For a long-term SaaS career, this kind of position builds durable experience in leading teams that ship iteratively against a roadmap, while maintaining stability and quality at scale. The remit touches the mechanics that matter in subscription software—reducing friction, improving delivery processes, and coordinating across product, engineering, and customer-facing functions. Exposure to distributed collaboration and technical decision artifacts (such as ADRs) also maps well to how modern SaaS engineering organizations document and execute.
This role tends to suit managers who like staying close to product outcomes without abandoning engineering depth, and who are comfortable growing other leaders alongside delivery. It aligns with professionals who prefer structured collaboration (including regular in-office touchpoints in Paris) and who are motivated by building dependable user-facing systems in a security-sensitive SaaS environment.
