Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Lead Integrations System Engineer role sits at the intersection of SaaS operations and enterprise-grade platform building. In a product-led company selling into regulated, workflow-heavy domains, the connective tissue between systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, and Marketo becomes a core capability rather than back-office plumbing. The emphasis on moving beyond one-off automations toward durable pipelines and custom workflows signals a maturity step many scaling SaaS companies face once customer volume and internal complexity rise.
From a SaaS career standpoint, integrations leadership is a durable specialization: it builds fluency in how revenue, finance, and people data move through a modern SaaS stack, and how reliability practices (monitoring, error handling, data modeling) protect downstream decision-making. Experience with reverse ETL and Lead-to-Cash automation also translates across SaaS organizations that are tightening analytics-to-action loops and standardizing GTM processes.
This position is best suited to someone who prefers ownership over a defined domain and enjoys translating business process ambiguity into technical standards. It will fit an engineer comfortable partnering with non-technical stakeholders and making pragmatic architecture choices, while still staying hands-on in implementation and guiding others as the integration footprint expands.

Role Overview
We’re seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to define and execute our enterprise integration strategy. You’ll serve as the technical owner for our integration platforms, moving us beyond simple automations to robust, scalable data pipelines and custom application workflows. This role is responsible for connecting our core corporate systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, and Marketo, to automate impactful business problems and ensure data integrity as we scale.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives in a building phase. You have deep expertise in modern iPaaS solutions, API design, and data modeling, and you are excited to lead high-impact projects like automating our Lead-to-Cash lifecycle and building reverse ETL pipelines.
What You'll Do
Own the Integration Platform: Lead the selection, architecture, and implementation of our enterprise iPaaS solutions, guiding the organization's growth into using these tools as we scale the company.
Build Critical Data Pipelines: Design and develop complex integrations between key business systems (Salesforce, CPQ, NetSuite, Workday, Marketo) to support automation in Lead-to-Cash, Order Management, and Employee Lifecycle processes.
Engineer Custom Workflows: Build custom application workflows and reverse ETL pipelines that sync data across our stack, ensuring our GTM, Finance, and other teams have trusted data where they work.
Establish Standards: Define and enforce best practices for API integration, error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure 99.9% reliability of our business-critical data flows.
Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with Finance Systems, GTM Systems, and People Ops stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Lead & Mentor: Act as a technical lead for the integration domain, mentoring junior engineers and contractor resources as the team expands.
What You Have
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Integration Engineering, Software Engineering, or Business Systems with a focus on backend integrations.
Deep expertise with enterprise iPaaS platforms and a strong understanding of API standards (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth).
Proven experience integrating complex enterprise SaaS and data warehousing applications, specifically Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, and/or Workday.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for complex data transformation and automation logic.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.
Bonus Points:
Compensation Range
$174,000 - $236,000 USD
