The Partnership Manager, Europe plays a key role in sourcing, managing, and expanding strategic data partnerships across European shipping and commodity markets. This role suits someone with deep regional expertise and a strong network across ports, ship agents, brokers, terminals, and other key market intermediaries.
You will proactively identify and secure new data sources, strengthen existing partnerships, and manage the day-to-day performance of regional data relationships. Success in this role requires strong market knowledge, cultural awareness, and the ability to build trust with often opaque data providers—helping unlock improved coverage, reliability, and differentiation where visibility is limited.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Existing Partnerships – Maintain and develop regional shipping and commodity partnerships, ensuring timely, reliable data delivery and strong engagement.
- Source New Data Partners – Identify and onboard high-value partners to improve visibility in European shipping and commodity markets.
- Industry Engagement – Attend European shipping and commodity industry events, conferences, and trade forums to gather market intelligence and expand networks.
- Market Insight Sharing – Communicate regional trends, challenges, and opportunities to the Partnerships team, proposing creative solutions to address gaps.
- Commercial Collaboration – Work with Sales & Legal teams to monitor competitive developments, and advise on non-end user cases.
- Data Ops Support – Action critical requests from Data Operations to ensure data quality and timely ingestion.
- Platform Demos & Partner Enablement – Deliver demonstrations, provide training, and support partners in utilising platform tools and services.
- Partner Issue Resolution – Proactively manage and resolve partner queries, collecting feedback and sharing insights internally to improve delivery and product value.
Required Experience & Background
- Proven experience in European shipping and commodity markets, including cargo, ports, vessel tracking, and commodity flows.
- Demonstrable experience in sourcing and managing data partnerships for shipping or commodity information.
- Established network across European ports, ship agents, brokers, terminals, and commodity market sources.
- Knowledge of shipping operations, commodity trade flows, and logistics relevant to market intelligence.
- Experience managing partner relationships, ensuring data delivery and operational reliability.
- Ability to navigate opaque or fragmented data markets and overcome regulatory, language, or cultural barriers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Maritime Studies, Shipping, Supply Chain, Energy, or a related discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in shipping, commodities, or market intelligence environments.
