Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Enterprise Account Manager roles remain central to how SaaS companies convert platform value into durable revenue, particularly when products sit in infrastructure-adjacent categories like data resilience, backup, and cloud operations. In this listing, the remit spans named major accounts across Italy and explicitly includes partner-led motions, reflecting how enterprise SaaS often lands and expands through ecosystems rather than direct-only selling.
From a SaaS career standpoint, the work builds fluency in multi-stakeholder enterprise selling where procurement, security, and IT architecture shape outcomes as much as business need. Regular forecasting and opportunity hygiene in Salesforce reinforces the operating cadence common in subscription businesses, where pipeline quality, renewal potential, and expansion paths are tracked continuously. Experience selling complex systems products also translates well across SaaS segments that require consultative discovery and solution mapping.
This role tends to suit professionals who prefer structured territory ownership and long-cycle account development over high-volume transactional sales. It fits someone comfortable coordinating with partners, navigating established enterprise relationships, and traveling to stay close to key stakeholders. It also aligns with candidates who enjoy translating technical concepts—virtualisation and cloud environments—into commercial value for senior customer audiences.
