About the Role
We are seeking a Tableau Developer with strong expertise in the modern data stack to build scalable, high-performance dashboards and data visualizations. You will work with Tableau, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airbyte, Stitch, Fivetran, and Hex to transform raw data into actionable insights.
This role will partner closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and impactful data visualization that drives business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that empower data-driven decision-making.
- Connect Tableau to Snowflake, BigQuery, and other cloud data warehouses for optimized performance.
- Build clean, analytics-ready datasets using dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Develop and manage data pipelines with Airbyte, Stitch, and Fivetran for seamless ingestion and automation.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure data consistency, governance, and quality.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Apply best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and dashboard design.
- Use Hex for advanced analytics and collaborative exploration.
- Provide documentation, training, and support for end-users.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality across SQL, dbt, and data pipelines
- Apply AI-supported techniques for data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and trend detection in customer data
- Support AI-driven analytics use cases (e.g., churn risk or onboarding signals) by building reliable, well-modeled datasets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer or BI Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Experience with Snowflake and BigQuery for data storage and querying.
- Hands-on expertise with dbt for data transformation.
- Familiarity with ELT tools such as Airbyte, Stitch, and Fivetran.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of dashboard UI/UX best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python for advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with Hex for collaborative analytics and notebooks.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices for data pipelines and dbt version control.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and access control best practices.
